I'm Tasha Boyd, and before anything else goes up on this site, it has to pass one test: could someone actually finish it? That question came out of twelve years teaching group fitness at a community rec center in Michigan, where my 9 a.m. class held a sixty-eight-year-old with two knee replacements and a college athlete in the same hour. This page is the honest breakdown of how I turn that experience into the plans, recipes, and guides you see on Easy Workout Plans — how they're made, who reviews them, where the trends come from, and what happens when I get something wrong.

Our Mission

Easy Workout Plans exists to close the gap between a workout plan that looks good on paper and one that survives a real Tuesday — kids underfoot, sixteen minutes free, a knee that's cranky. Every category on this site, from Weight Loss and Muscle Building to Mobility & Stretching and our Goal-Based Meal Prep guides, is built around the same standard: three versions of every move (supported, standard, harder), printed rest days, and honest time estimates. No plan gets published claiming a session length I haven't personally timed.

How Content Is Created and Reviewed

I write, test, and edit the vast majority of what's on this site myself, drawing on my certification as a personal trainer and over a decade of coaching real bodies in a real rec center room — not a curated studio class. Before a plan or recipe goes live, it moves through a simple process:

  • Draft based on programming principles I use with actual clients, not borrowed templates.
  • Beta testing with a small group of readers or former class members, with a published completion rate — because a plan nobody finishes isn't a good plan.
  • A second review pass for accuracy on reps, rest, calories, or protein counts, since numbers get sloppy fast if you don't double-check them.
  • Occasional input from other certified trainers or nutrition-savvy contributors when a topic sits outside my direct expertise, always disclosed when relevant.

You can read more about my background and how I ended up building this site on the About Us page.

How We Choose Topics

Topic selection isn't random — it maps directly to the categories readers actually search for: Weight Loss, Fat Burning, Strength Training, Full Body, and increasingly, food that supports those goals, like High-Protein Snacks and Athlete & Performance Meals. When I see a pattern in reader questions — say, requests for dairy-free protein options or quick air fryer dinners — that becomes a content priority. I also keep an eye on genuine shifts in how people train and eat year to year, which is why you'll see forward-dated guides like our seasonal meal prep and snack lists; they're written to stay useful, not to chase a fad.

Sourcing and Trends

Fitness and nutrition information here is grounded in established exercise science, my own certification training, and hands-on coaching experience — not repackaged social media trends. When a topic touches on medical or clinical territory (injury recovery, postpartum training, specific health conditions), I lean conservative and recommend readers check with a doctor or physical therapist rather than treating any article as a substitute for one. Nutritional information in our recipe and meal prep content is calculated carefully, but individual needs vary, so treat every number as a helpful estimate, not a prescription.

Product Recommendation Philosophy

My garage gym is deliberately unglamorous: a mat, two sets of dumbbells, a bench, and a resistance band I've replaced four times because I actually use it. That's the bar for anything I recommend — if I wouldn't buy it again, it doesn't get suggested to you. Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Full details live on our Affiliate Disclaimer and Disclosure pages, and I'd rather lose a commission than recommend equipment I don't trust.

Transparency on Ads and Partnerships

This site runs on a mix of advertising and occasional partnerships, and I want that relationship to be visible, not buried. Sponsored content, if it ever appears, will always be clearly labeled as such. Brands don't get to dictate the training advice or nutrition guidance in an article — that stays mine. If you're a brand or creator interested in working together, the terms for that are outlined on our Collaboration page. For general questions about how any of this works, email me directly at [email protected].

Corrections Process

I'd rather fix a mistake fast than pretend it never happened. If a reader flags an error — a wrong calorie count, an outdated link, a rep scheme that doesn't match the video description — I review it personally, correct the live page as soon as it's verified, and note significant updates where relevant. If you spot something off, send the specific page and the issue to [email protected] and I'll look at it directly, usually within a few days.

Community Moderation

Comments and reader interaction on this site, including through our Pinterest profile, are moderated to keep the space useful and respectful — the same energy I tried to keep in a rec center room full of very different people working toward very different goals. Spam, harassment, and unsupported medical claims get removed. The full expectations for how we interact here are laid out in our Community Guidelines, and I'd genuinely rather have a smaller, honest comment section than a big, messy one.

For anything not covered here — legal questions, privacy details, or how we handle cookies and images — you'll find dedicated pages including our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimer. And if you just want to say hello or ask a question directly, the Contact page is the fastest way to reach me.
